I really haven't updated you in ages, LiveJournal. But then again, life has been eventful in the sort of way that I can't really write about here...not yet. Not unless I FO'd my journal or something, and that would be a bit cruel. So I won't. And I say/do-in-theory this out of consideration for those who may read, not out of hatred. Especially not now.
Anyway...I have "Jerk it Out" stuck in my head.
Recap-in-brief, no order specified:
- Alex's partay rocked. I heart him. I still have to finish his graduation card. I got pretty wet, but somehow the important parts of my shirt remained dry, despite/especially considering the pastel nature of the fabric. Alex, however, was entirely soaked and was all white/khaki.
- Didn't go to Catherine's/Sean's because at one time I was going to have company, but such company cancelled. I tried to visit company in his hometown, or near it, or something, but it didn't work out. I spent Saturday upset and then apathetic.
- The past four days have been strangely stellar. I've had a lot of projecty sort of work to do, 7-8 papers to write but only one come-in-for-it-and-sit-down exam. That's Math, which will be pretty easy except we went over the important stuff today/will do tomorrow and I'm missing to be all CSI. Whatever, it's Mr. Morris. I wuv him.
- Got my schedule for next year.
1: AP Lang
2: Drawing, Painting, Printmaking (yes, she made an exception b/c I've been trying to take art for 3 years...no Intro Art) which turns into VHS: Music Listening at the 2nd semester.
3: TV (which is great, I get to make a documentary anyway and learn FinalCut even though it's my first year...teachers love me for no reason)
4: Speech/Drama (which I really hope people take seriously)
5: work study - putting in recording studio and apprenticing Cordell, plus catching up on 4+ missed years of music theory. GAH I'MGONNADIE. what?
6: Honors Physics. crappitycrap. *conference-calls Bill and Jessi*
7: chorus, per usuale. Mr. Morris, the darling, insisted that I take it even though Discrete Math's that period, too. It's great. I would have anyway, of course, but still...aww. He was like 'well you can still visit, and we can talk about math and music and stuff" and I was like 'aww...yay I'll bring you food or something".
yep. so right now I'm half wicked dazed, and half bogged down with work. and half like OMG BILL AND I BOUGHT 8 RAMEN FOR $1.67...oh I love cheap pseudofood. we didn't eat them, he's eating them all this week. I don't think I could eat 4 ramen. I don't think I could eat 2 ramen.
anyway. um...yay for copying tons of Fridays music for next year, and the A capella fest is going through, and hardly any classes, and college, and projects but I don't mind them I guess, and 2 parties this weekend, and working a lot next week blah but the end of school and seeing people for 4 days in a row, soon to be 5, and probably 6, and....life is good.
so close. just...so close.
