10 things you wish you knew...

Each player of this game starts off with ten weird things or habits or little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged must write in a blog of their own ten weird things or habits or little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you must choose six people to be tagged and list their names. No tagbacks!

1. As confident as I may seem, I'm actually extremely insecure. I constantly worry about what others think about me and it influences my actions and decisions daily.

2. Religion is very important to me, but I wish I could be even more religious, and know more about Catholicism. Also, it upsets me that I can't fully pay attention to an hour of mass once a week. My mind just wanders...

3. I consider myself awkward, and that only makes things more awkward. I treat every social interaction as a game, and if I get through it without being awkward, I win. I lose quite often.

4. People have told me that I come off as snobbish when they first meet me. I absolutely don't mean it and I wish I could find a way to prevent it - especially since first impressions are the most important.

5. I worry that I'm not completely happy with everything in my life, but I don't know how I would go about changing that. I tend to just go with the flow, and wait for things to work themselves out, hoping that everything will turn out for the best. I suppose this means I'm bad at decision making. Overall, though, my life is pretty good, despite these facts.

6. I'm a perfectionist, much less so than I used to be though. However, I still obsess over grades and doing the "right" thing. If it means anything, I no longer type with proper capitalization and punctuation on AIM and I don't wear my retainer to bed every night.

7. I really don't like arguing with people, even if it means holding in how I feel about a certain topic or situation. Fortunately, my morals don't budge. But that's about all I feel comfortable "arguing" about.

8. I eat cereal for dessert.

9. Lately, singing has been making me angry. I try so hard to sound a certain way, and to practice singing with different techniques, but I still sound the same as when I started. Classical music isn't as easy as I once thought, and the thought of being judged when singing my classical music for other people really scares me... that's why I barely ever do it.

10. For some reason, solving math problems, difficult or not, always makes me extremely happy. The happiness only lasts a few seconds, but it's definitely a great feeling. That's probably why I'm a math major.
