Spock vs Data: A Conundrum of Sexiness
Technically I should be doing homework due in two hours, but this is momentarily more important, so it shall be short. It occured to me, who would I rather do - Spock or Data? Spock is flesh and blood, however Data is "fully functioning" in all parts, as stated in First Contact. Also, Data has the ol' emotion chip, so I may be able to connect with him better than with Spock, who retains the stony Vulcan-esque demeanor. I guess it could boil down to who is more attractive, but then I might also have to take into consideration if Spock would grow a goatee. Evil Goatee would probably win.
As far as courtship goes, if Data starts to do stuff that annoys me, I could always reprogram him, which would be a huge bonus (if only actual men were like this). In the early seasons when he was "learning to be human" he kept whining around like a little baby, which was a huge turn-off, so if he reverts back to that my libido might actually disappear. However, there is something to be said about a man who can rip off a bulkhead with his hands, even if they are machine hands.
What kind of conversations could I hold with Spock? Plus, I DEFINITELY would want to get laid more than once every seven years. Spock can calculate how to time travel around the sun in about ten seconds, though, which is cool. I will have to think more on this... after I talk about the Chinese one-child policy.
