Another religious crap shoot...
So apparently the ACLU is in the process of making their case to fight the tax-incentive-driven status of a new Bible themed park in Tennessee. The Mayor of the town invovled had this to say about the issue:
"This is an authentic rendering of the history of the Holy Land. It does not establish a religion."
But then later went on to say:
Although Lebanon's mayor touts the park's historical mission, he said in a September news conference that he was glad those who don't know the Bible would be exposed to it.
"That is probably more important to me than the revenue," Fox said.
How the hell is this last statement NOT trying to establish religion? I mean, is this guy just daft? It is almost unbelievable that so many of these idiotic crooks and liars are allowed to run rampant when they say one thing one sentence... and then fundamentally contradict that statement a few statements later. This park should have NO tax incentives given to them and should be treated in the same way that a church is treated by the Constitution.
Why can't these asshats just keep their crap to themselves and keep their money grubbing mitts out of the tax coffers?!?! I am growing so weary of this ridiculous shit.
