Last three days
Wednesday night got into it again with the ex. He freaked out when I gave him the final bill from the atty. It's only an additional $150 per person but it spawned him screaming at me at my house, leaving, calling on the phone and whining for another 30 minutes. The conversation in a nutshell: his wife is on unemployment and they didn't take out taxes so their being hit with the taxes, she still hasn't found a job, x is in fear the company he's working for is about to fail, and he'll loose the house, not to mention all their debt, her car that's failed the emission test, him praying for help, and having a near breakdown. Yup, That about sums up all he dumped on me.
What I got from all that. He's still a tool, and I need to budget just in case he really does loose his job.
That lovely night was followed up with last night when I pulled out of the parking lot at work I realized I had a flat tire. I spent 40 minutes changing it, only to realize when done that the spare was also flat. Yay! 40 minutes in sub zero weather for nothing. I got a tow while dad and mom maneuvered N's pick-up and take-home. It all did work out nicely in the end and the tow guys were great! They didn't charge for the extra mileage that my insurance wouldn't cover from work to home, and they were a very funny ride to the body shop.
Today was much better. I only needed to replace two tires, my car will be ready by tomorrow. Mom's shoulder surgery this morning went well and she's already home recuperating. I decided to take my last test for Medical Terminology during my lunch break and pulled off a B in the class. So now my time will be devoted to reading, reading, and more reading!
I hopefully get to see Scott this weekend and do some holiday type things, and go see a movie with dad on Sunday. The week might have started out crappy but it definitely is getting better with the potential to be great!
