New Life
So I know it has been awhile, but I finally escaped GES after CES. I got an offer to go to Service Plumbing and of course I jumped. I am loving it, fewer hours, more pay. It is a good gig. I am wanted and needed on my team. I am learning a ton of stuff and I am going to be an asset to this company. They are so happy to have me and that makes all the difference.
Brian applied to the police academy, and I am being supportive, I mean what more can a roommate be but supportive. It is his dream and he should be allowed to follow it. And I didn't think much about it until yesterday when an police officer was shot and killed in Las Vegas. The first one in 18 years but still, I wonder how I will take it when or if I ever get that news. Then I realized if that ever happened to my friend Ray I wondered how I would find out. Stuff to think about.
