Why are you blogging at six AM?

Why? You ask. Well, I'll tell you. Because I'm awake.

Well, why the fuck are you awake at six in the god awful morning?

That, detective, is the right question.

A: I can't sleep for shit anymore. My sleep patterns are so erratic it's ridiculous. I'm generally plagued by insomnia as well. Sometimes I'll just lay there uncomfortable for hours wishing I'd just freaking pass out. Did I mention I'd be laying there uncomfortably? And it's not the surface I'm sleeping on that's causing me to be uncomfortable, it's me. I'm in more pain laying down than I am standing or sitting, why, I don't know. I just am. It's not my bed, my bed is comfortable, or should be at least. It's large, the mattresses are new but broken in, the best bed I've ever slept in probably and the only one I tolerate. It just doesn't seem to matter anymore.

There's this couch in our [Generic Household Room]. It's kind of small, just barely large enough to fit me.(laying down) It's old, it was with this house when we purchased it. It used to be though, that this couch was like the answer to insomnia. If I couldn't sleep in my bed. I'd just move to the couch, and voila, I'd be out cold. Not anymore. It's a chore falling asleep on it now too. And more painful(arguably) than sleeping in my bed. There's a newer larger generally more comfortable couch that we have, but that thing never worked and still doesn't. The floor doesn't even work. Yes, the floor. It's not uncommon to see me sleeping on the floor next to a comfortable bed, or couch. I dislike beds generally, but sleeping on the floor can literally be a pain(more so than sleeping on a cushioned surface, carpet doesn't count as cushioning.:P Nor does the cushioning under the carpet) On a somewhat unrelated note, I generally never sleep in spare beds at a friends house, or on hotel beds, you'll almost always find me on the floor. There are those that can confirm this.

Anyway, back on topic. Take tonight, and last night for instance. I don't even know how long I lay awake yesterday before I finally passed out. Hours. Even after I moved from my room to what was once my beloved magic couch. Meanwhile, I'm laying there in pain, only to eventually pass out, and no more than three hours later wake up in significantly more pain than I was in before I fell asleep, as is always the case. Sometimes, it's not even three hours. Sometimes, it's not even one. Tonight it happened to be three. I finally managed to pass out around 2am, woke up around 5am. I spent about an hour laying there trying to get as comfortable as possible, and hoping I'd pass back out. Didn't happen, finally, I decided I'd just get up and blog about it. Why? I dunno. Because I can.

On a side note, my WoW account is frozen, so you can't blame my not sleeping on that. On another note, my being uncomfortable and in pain pretty much all the time is nothing new, so it's not that either.

As some of you know I was dealing with some insomnia issues pretty heavily after the thing with Jocelyn happened. It's not that anymore. I'm long past losing sleep over her.

So...not sure what else to say, so I guess with that it's off to youtube, until I decide to go try and deal with this again.
