So shauna80 has me reading this series of Feehan's, and I'm reading Mind Game and I found the greatest of great quotes:

The most unfortunate thing is I can agree with it not only in a conceptual sense, but in an experiential sense, as I've stared down the barrel of an enemy's weapon, and it was easier than trying to talk to a woman of interest.
