Yuletide 2013: Accomplished!
It's New Year's Day (happy New Year!) and that means Yuletide fics are no longer anonymous!
This year I received three lovely stories, all in different fandoms, because people are awesome. They are:

Hector fic! It starts out with Hector backstory (which has promptly become my headcanon :-D) and ends with how he met Duke and Earl. I don't know why Hector piqued my interest as much as he did when I first read the book, but I've requested this book for Yuletide twice and asked after Hector both times. And now I have Hector fic! And it's delightful!

I became quite attached to Gaia in the second season of The Almighty Johnsons and was thoroughly bummed when she was mostly not in the third season. This made me feel much better and was just what I asked for in my letter. A perfect treat!

Summary: Priya doesn't know the name of the child in the photograph, the girl with her mother's smile, with her uncle's single dimple. She doesn't know her name and she feels a moment of maternal terror, because this child is her daughter and she's never met her before in her life.
I didn't expect to get anything for this fandom, since it's just a pilot that never got picked up. And yet I got this lovely fic that's like a lost episode, and Priya is perfect in it! I was so delighted to read this.
This year I wrote one story for Yuletide, and it was for the same fandom I received fic in last year! Since my gifts last year included three great stories in this fandom, which were the first fics ever written for it, I was a little intimidated, but I enjoyed writing for it regardless:
