Iiiiiiin other news...
Good lord, how many names does Shouta have for Tsuji? XD In the Doubles article I posted a few days back, he called the guy "Tsujimocchan" <--the fuck? XD
The best part of that whole interview, though, was this question:
--So, you're both doubles pairs, but how are your relationships?
Shouta: Our characters were already called the Golden Pair from the beginning, so it was like, "Well, we don't have any choice but to make this work just the two of us!"
Tsuji: Their move is even called synchro, two bodies moving as one. So we decided to always be together--but I think that worked out for the best in the end.
Shouta: We always read one script between the two of us.
Tsuji: It's like, sitting there beside each other with the same script open before us and writing in the same notes and comments, you can really feel that sense of one-ness better, so that's what we decided to do. We've been going with that same style this whole time.
Shouta: Whether it was in the rehearsal hall or out in public we were always together, so it was never a problem.
Tsuji: When we'd hang out on our days off, there were a lot of times where we'd be, "For that scene, let's put our hands together and do it like in the manga!"
Shouta: We would decide on our own it was better that way because then it was more Golden Pair-ish and then we would try it out at rehearsals, and we wound up almost always doing it that way. To me, rather than being placed in a doubles pair and becoming good friends, it's more like we were two good friends who formed a pair together.
Tsuji: We have the same sense of humor, so we laugh at all the same things, and it's just like--we're really compatible.
Ebo: And geez, you know--you two are just so naturally clingy with each other! (haha)
Tsuji: We even came here for the interview together today!........Uh, you know, when I think about it...that's kind of weird!
["weird" in the 気持ち悪い way, but...not BAD necessarily, just...implicative!weird :D]
LOLOLOL BOYS. I love the word Ebo used to describe them, べたべた [(1) (on-mim) sticky; (2) all over; (3) clinging (e.g. of a person); following around; (adj-na)] <--they're in luuuuuuuurve :D Ebo's a sharp tack *is reminded of DL1st!Souta vs. Tuti/Nagayan's GP*
