I hope he sings this at the Live >_>

So, a while back hitome_bore and I got it into our heads that there was something super special about Nagayan's song Kotoba Kara (especially given that it's the song Tuti played at That Panisuta), and after much deliberation, we realized that the lyrics didn't sound like anything Nagayan would write at all...but rather sounded like Tuti himself speaking ( Read more... )

FIC: Kotoba Kara (Part 1) innusiq January 30 2009, 03:53:34 UTC
The sound of his apartment door slamming does little to ease his already frayed nerves. He doesn't even move to turn on the lights, navigating by memory as he slips off his shoes and bag, hangs his coat, hat and scarf, and drops his keys on the closest available surface he can feel. Takashi then stands there, in the dark, breathing, heavier than he'd like, and willing himself to calm down at least a fraction before he damages something he will regret in the morning.

They are only words, he reminds himself, again, and even though he knows it's true, it doesn't make him feel any better ( ... )

Takashi can count on one hand the number of times he has said the words, hell, he can count on one hand the number of times they both have said those three little words. He doesn't need to hear them to know that Tuti loves him, he doesn't, really, but for some reason, today…

Takashi sighs again, angry now with himself for being mad (yes he admits he was a little mad) at Tuti for what he never needed to hear in the first place.

"Baka," Takashi calls himself out loud, making his way through the apartment to crawl into bed and call the day over. "Tomorrow couldn't be any worse."

It's with surprise that he sits back up, turns on the lamp on his computer table and picks up a folded piece of paper he heard crinkle under his weight.

The words written on the paper are in Tuti's annoyingly perfect script, and Takashi has to read the first two lines three times before he finally realizes what exactly he is reading.

You ask me over and over again, calling me a liar ( ... )

Apparently I agree with you and you are very inspiring, because dude, I don't normally write like that aka that quickly. Phew! Anyway, posted just here since you locked your entry, assuming due to the translation?

Enjoy!

POST IT TO THE COMM.

Done :D

Seriously, I was quite surprised by this fic myself, so this topic must have struck a cord with me.

And thank you for translating the song again, actually for all the translations you have done with Nagayan's songs. It's nice having a general idea of what he is singing when I listen to them seeing as I haven't a clue without a translation.

God I love these guys...

I'm going back and redoing all of them, this just was one of the few I'd finished, and I realized I'd never posted my thoughts on it before :D

I feel like all of his songs have to have SOMETHING behind them, some little something he saw somewhere, or experienced sometime...or a present from someone else ^_~
