Challenge: Drabble Cycle # 10: Astrology

AN: I made up the zodiacs of the Spectre Sisters and used their japanese names (Kermesite = Koan; Berthier = Berthierite; Calaveras = Calaverite; Petz = Petzite). I used the japanese names of the other senshis as well, I hope this won't be too confusing ^^'

1. Aries - Rei/Ami - selfish, fiery - 120 words - G
Ami woke up in the middle of the night and noticed an unnatural heat. She frowned and wiped some sweat from her forehead, threw away the blanket and turned her head to look at the black haired beauty right next to her. She laid one hand on the other girl’s cheek and sighed, moving out of Rei’s arms, ending the body contact, looking for a cooler spot on the mattress.
Rei mumbled something and opened her eyes. “Hey, where are you going?” she complained.
“You’re way too hot … literally.”
Rei pouted, then grinned and followed Ami to the other side of the bed, snuggling closer again. “Well, the price you pay for loving a fire priestess,” she stated chuckling.

2. Taurus - Kermesite/Rei - jealous, possessive - 111 words - PG
Kermesite entered the flat and threw her purse away. “Don’t deny it, I saw the way you looked at him!” she yelled and gritted her teeth when Rei just rolled her eyes.
“How many times do I have to tell you. I did NOT in ANY special way look at him! You’re just being jealous again.”
Kermesite grimaced and sobbed. “You’re going to leave me …”
Rei sighed and collected the other woman in her arms. “No, I won’t. Not for that man, not for the waitress and not for any of your sisters,” Rei smiled when Kermesite pouted and wiped away her tears.
“You’re all mine?”
“I’m all yours. Always.“

3. Gemini - Berthierite/Ami - intelligent - 100 words - PG-13
Berthierite moved the white queen over the chessboard and smiled. “Checkmate, my dear. It is your turn again to take something off.”
Ami sighed but smiled at her silver haired lover. “I don’t think you ever won so many matches in a row.”
Berthierite giggled. „Well, depends on the motivation,“ she said watching how Ami finally unzipped her bra. “One more victory and I am the winner of the day,” she grinned and laid her eyes on Amis panties … the only thing the other girl was wearing now.
“Fine then, get ready for another party. This time I’ll win.”

4. Cancer - Bunny/Ami - overemotional - 200 words - G
Ami gave an exaggerated sigh when she entered the flat and found a major chaos. “Bunny?” she called out and looked into the kitchen. That looked even worse than the living room and Ami’s eyes widened. “Gosh, what happened here?” she exclaimed and suddenly heard a sob. She turned her head to the right and saw her blonde girlfriend on the floor, crying her eyes out.
“Bunny, are you hurt?” Ami asked right away full of worry and bent down to examine the other girl.
“No …”
“Then what happened?”
“I … I just wanted to make a very special dinner for you. But as you can see…” The blonde couldn’t even finish the sentence; she started crying again, her body shook under her sobs.
Ami couldn’t help but smile. Before Bunny could see she took her soothingly in her arms.
“It’s okay. You tried, and that’s very nice of you,” Ami said with a reassuring voice. “How about we go out to eat something and clean up this mess later?”
“You’d help me?” Bunny asked with big blue eyes.
“Sure, I’ll help you,” Ami gave in and laughed when Bunny rejoiced and danced into their bedroom to get changed.

5. Leo - Petzite/Makoto - generous - 180 words - PG
Makoto drank the last sip of her wine and smiled. “The food was delicious, Petzite. Thank you so much for the invitation to this restaurant.”
Petzite returned the smile. „Don’t mention it. I figured you would like it here.”
Makoto looked at the candles, the classy napkins and tablecloths, the people around them who wore the finest clothes; the tunes of a piano floated through the air. “It’s perfect.”
“Wait for the desert,” the other woman said.
“Oh, I can’t eat another- What’s that?”
Before Makoto could finish the sentence, Petzite pushed a jewel case over to her. “Open it.”
Makoto’s heart started to beat faster when she did as she was told and her breath caught in her throat. It was a beautiful necklace with a large emerald.
“Are you crazy?” Makoto breathed, her eyes glistening.
“You’re worth it. I just want to thank you for all you’ve done, for the wonderful time we spent together. I’m so happy with you.”
Makoto had to suppress a sob when she stood up and kissed her lover with all her heart.

6. Virgo - Ami/Rei - Meticulous - 100 words - G
Rei bent over to Ami to compare her solution of a sum with Ami’s. “Yes, I got it right!”
“Really? That’s great! Let’s see,” Ami answered, but her smile faltered when she looked at Rei’s calculation method. “Sorry, but that is the wrong way …”
“What does it matter? The end result is correct,” Rei frowned.
“It does matter a lot!” Ami exclaimed. “I think you were just lucky this time,” the blue haired girl said apologetic.
Rei pouted. “So I have to do this again?”
“I’m afraid so.”
“Gosh, I hate this stuff,” Rei complained but started over nevertheless.

7. Libra - Minako/Makoto - indecisive - 160 words - G
Minako stood in front of her mirror and scanned her reflection doubtfully. „I think the other one looked better. What do you think?” she asked the brown haired girl on the couch, who sighed exaggeredly.
“Really, both look good on you! If we’re not going now we’ll miss the movie!” Makoto exclaimed.
“But I want to look good when we go out!”
“You do look perfectly fine!”
“You’re just saying that because you want to go,” Minako pouted.
Makoto hit herself on the forehead. “Know what? Forget it, we’ll cut the movie and go for a swim. Then it doesn’t matter what you’re wearing for it won’t be long. Okay?”
Minako smiled. “Okay!” she agreed, moving to the bathroom to collect some towels.
Makoto sighed again. Finally …
“Oh, Makoto?”
“Yes?”
Minako came back and held up three bathing suits. “What do you think, the orange, the yellow or the purple one?”
Makoto threw herself on the cushion and screamed.

8. Scorpio - Setsuna/Michiru - mysterious, passionate - 170 words - M
Michiru moaned when the fingers of the other woman roamed her body, knowing exactly where to be gentle and where to be hard, giving the green haired violinist one pleasure after another. Michiru’s eyes opened slightly but all she could see of the other woman were dark red lips and a mask she was wearing. All of this was so exciting, and when she climaxed it was harder than ever.
“Who are you?” Michiru panted and reached for her face.
“No one. A stranger,” the other woman whispered, her voice as smooth and dark as the velvet of the mask when she took hold of Michiru’s fingers, kissed them one last time and then disappeared into the crowd of the masked ball.

Setsuna watched Michiru walking back to the other people, looking around, searching for her. The guardian of time smiled, removed the black velvet mask and the matching wig, left it on the balcony and jumped from the balustrade into the night, never to reveal her secret to anybody.

9. Sagittarius - Makoto/Minako - optimistic, honest - 150 words - G
Minako looked at her girlfriend with big, blue, expecting eyes. „So … how is it?“
Makoto took her time to chew on the cookie in her mouth, even though the taste was not really good. It was too hard, too dry, the blonde girl had used too much spices so it was kinda undefineable what she had used exactly.
Finally Makoto had to swallow it.
“Well …,” she started and Minako’s eyes got even bigger. “Better than last time,” she said with a laugh and sadly this was indeed the truth.
“Yes!” Minako exclaimed joyously.
“But you still have a lot to learn and please do the other girls a favor and don’t give it to them as a present.”
“Mh,” Minako said. “So it’s not that good?”
“No, Honey, not really. But we’ll try again and again until they become perfect,” Makoto promised and gave Minako an optimistic smile.

10. Capricorn - Calaverite/Minako - reserved - 170 words - PG
Calaverite gave Minako an unhappy look. “Do you really want to go out tonight?” she asked and bit her lip.
“Sure, it’s weekend after all. What do you want to do? Karaoke, dancing, the game center?”
“How about watching a movie and order some food? We could spend some time alone, if you know what I mean,” the brown haired woman offered with a mischievous smile.
Minako sighed. “We did this last week. Come on, I want to meet new people and have fun!”
New people … that was just the part Calaverite didn’t like.
“If you’re not joining me, I’ll go out alone,” Minako stated and crossed her arms.
But that was something Calaverite liked even less. “Okay, you got me. Let’s go to the game center.”
“Yay!” Minako cheered and hugged her girlfriend. “But I hope you won’t be all sulky again.”
“I wouldn’t dare.” Calaverite couldn’t help but smile at the blonde. How could anyone be sulky if he had a sunshine like her at his side?

11. Aquarius - Haruka/Michiru - unpredictable - 100 words - PG-13
„Mh, that feels so good … Oh yes, Haruka, don’t stop, don’t sto- Why did you stop?“
Haruka grinned and sat up, looked down on Michiru’s protesting face. Her cheeks were flushed, her mouth slightly open, her eyes clouded, her hair messed up. She was so beautiful. But nevertheless …
“Remember three weeks ago when you really had to practice and wouldn’t even give me ten minutes for a short make-out session?”
Michiru blinked at her. “What?” she breathed confused.
“Well, Honey, payback’s a bitch. See ya later,” she laughed, kissed her love on the nose and left the bed.

12. Pisces - Michiru/Haruka - creative - 122 words - PG
Haruka watched how Michiru’s fingers flew over the violin, creating a song she had never heard before. It was magical, calm but powerful, telling a thousand stories just by varying the tune a little bit. At some times it was faster, passionate, a tension filling the air that gripped at Harukas heart and left her breathless … just to relax a few seconds later, smooth the waves of excitement and bring tears of relief to the blonde girl’s eyes.
“That was stunning,” she breathed when the last note died away and smiled at Michiru’s beaming expression. “What was that? You never played it before.”
“I wrote it. With you as my inspiration,” the musician answered and kissed her muse on the lips.
