"I thought it was supposed to be a cake, not a biscuit!" Clyde chuckled as he watched from the doorway.
"You're not helping!"
Sarah Jane lifted the lid of the saucepan, took one look at its contents and swore under her breath.
"Oh yeah, she'll just love the burnt bits!" Clyde chipped in on his way to the fridge.
"You're not helping!"
Maria turned up at Sarah Jane's door late and empty handed. Both women started to apologise at the same time.
"Takeaway?" Sarah suggested as she ushered Maria inside.
