A/N: It's been a while around 3 years since I posted here. And I only like Twilight in an ironic way, no really.
Alice should have told me. My heart burst, totally. I mean, shattered.
‘Calm down Bella.’
She rolled over, her hand landing lightly on my stomach, her legs knocking the bedclothes to the floor. I felt a blush creeping along my flesh, almost but not quite as pale as hers.
‘What?’ Alice asked. She gave me a withering look when, I guess, she saw my sullen expression. ‘It’s one wrinkle. And you only got it because you frown so much. Seriously.’
‘I’m old,’ I muttered. ‘Like, look at me!’
Alice sighed. ‘If I turned you into a vampire, he’d be a bit madder. You know, madder than he is already.’
‘Edward knows?’ I tried to breathe slowly. ‘I mean, about…us.”
Alice just scratched her nose; I felt her cool body move closer against mine on the bed.
‘This is a disaster, Alice.’
‘It’s one wrinkle.’
‘As opposed to none.’
‘Edward’s more likely to be mad about me sleeping with you.’
I let out a huff and got up, my feet making an un-dainty thump on Alice’s bedroom floor. The first solution was, obviously, some kind of anti-aging cream. I had full faith that the other disasters would fall into line afterwards.
