“This doesn’t work.”
“Yes it does.”
“I feel all tight.”
“Sure you do.”
“It pinches.”
Bai Tza lowered her book and glanced over at Jade, who was currently stuffed into a corset and sporting a lovely maroon colour.
“You look nice.”
“Yeah, hardly a plus if I’m choking to death.”
Bai Tza rolled her eyes and raised her book again, ignoring Jade’s sigh and the tugging noises… But she certainly couldn’t ignore the ripping noise.
Or the roll of cream fabric gliding across the floor and right into her foot.
She looked up; normally she would have appreciated the sight of a blushing Jade trying to gather fabric to herself more but… Not when there were sale assistants outside and not when that dress had cost at least a thousand pounds.
Instead she simply snarled to herself, picked up Jade’s normal clothes,tossed them to her and prepared to run.
A pity, the dress had been such a nice colour.
