Playing Pirate
What should have been a simple crossing to join Angelus and William in Ireland took a grotesque turn when Drusilla took a fancy to playing pirate. Amused by the idea, Darla indulged her and quickly enough they’d killed the other passengers and turned the crew to vampires.
They ran a black flag up the mast and Drusilla caressed the skull of one of her unfortunate victims singing gleefully; “Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s death for me.”
For the next few weeks they ran rampant, terrorizing any ship they chanced upon, murdering and robbing, piling the blood-stained decks of their vessel with jewels, dolls and dresses.
Angelus and William eventually came to collect them, but for many years to come sailors in the Irish Sea spoke in terror of a ship that sailed only at night, crewed by the undead and captained by two beautiful, pale women who strolled hand in hand amidst the death and carnage they brought, laughing.
