“So, I read your novel.” Dorothy cleared her throat.
Blanche grinned, the pair sitting on patio chairs on the lanai, enjoying a sunset. “Finally, someone with the literary sophistication to appreciate its perfection.”
“No, Rose was right, it’s mostly incoherent sleep-deprived nonsense, but you managed to write some very, um, vivid? sex scenes.”
“Well, those are the important bits.” Blanche huffed.
“And I noticed that one of the sex scenes was between two women.”
Blanche shrugged. “My heroine is a very sexual person and she couldn’t help being attracted to the tall, sultry voiced lounge singer.”
“The one who sang Hard Hearted Hannah?” Dorothy grinned.
“The very same.” Blanche wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.
