As much as Barb was aware of Nancy's attractions she was sure Nancy was completely oblivious to hers.
Barb had come to the realisation she was in love with Nancy gradually. For a long time she was sure it was obvious and that Nancy would call her out on it and their friendship would implode. She didn’t know if she liked girls or if it was just Nancy. So far it had been just her. Barb knew she'd have a lot to figure out. One day she might work up the nerve to tell Nancy how she felt. But not today.
Today she was going to drive Nancy to the Harrington residence because Steve's parents weren't home and he was planning on having sex with Nancy.
