“I wouldn’t have met you if I hadn’t married into the family. What would you call it?”
Claire paused a moment. “I don’t know. Happenstance?”
“You don’t think we were meant to find each other?” Gloria sat up.
Claire sat next to her. “I think it’s a wonderful coincidence that we’ve come together.” She said, stealing a kiss.
“What you’re calling coincidence is the same as what I’m calling fate.” Gloria insisted, fingers plunging into Claire’s short blonde waves.
