"Maybe you're right," Etta says, her bright smile falling as a group of guys cut a large curve around them, sniggering.
Wonder Woman glowers at the boys. They can not have been adults for very long, and she's quite certain manhood still escapes them, but their laughter hurts her friend. Her eyes narrow dangerously at them.
"Maybe I do need to lose weight, give up eating -- " Etta sighs heavily. "I am too big, but I just love candy so much!"
"Etta, never change your shape for somebody else."
"But if I stay the shape I am, I'll never have anybody else!"
Her mind made up, Wonder Woman grasps her friend's hand and pulls her close against her lithe body. "You're the perfect shape," she murmurs softly, "for me." The same boys who laughed at Etta a few minutes ago now turn around and gape at the two women kissing.
When Diana lifts her lips from Etta's, her movement is slow, cautious, and all reasoning has almost left her mind. She caresses Etta's upturned face with the gentle but heated stroke of a true lover.
"W-Wonder -- "
She places a finger against Etta's lips. "The only reason I ever say you should lay off the candy is because I worry about you."
"I'll do it," Etta vows after Diana moves her finger. "I'll do it for you!"
"Not for me, for you. For your health."
"Can you kiss me again?"
"Why not? That was rather . . . nice." Diana obliges both their desires with another passionate kiss.
