They watch from the highest point in the kingdom as snow slowly covers the desert landscape. Snow falls in the city. Children dash out from the shadows where they've hidden from the heat all day to catch snowflakes on their tongue. Some build snowmen; others build forts and start snowball fights. Even some adults join in the fun. A few catch sight of their Princess and wave to her.
Jasmine sighs happily and leans forward on the magic carpet, taking Elsa's hand in hers as the Elemental finishes her work. Her dark eyes drift over her people and back to the castle gardens, where Rajah's playing like a kitten, taking turns chasing his tail and the cold flakes raining down on his striped fur. She hasn't seen him so happy since they were children. Her gaze returns to her people; she's never seen them so happy.
She beams at her most cherished friend. "It's amazing what you can do."
Elsa grins up at her. "It's amazing," she returns, "what we can do together." She raises Jasmine's hand, her fingers interlacing with hers, leans forward, and kisses her sweetly. She, too, has never been as happy.

"I haven't done this since high school," Erin murmurs softly, noting the golden sunlight beginning to stream into their window with the arrival of morning.
"What?" Abby asks, lifting her head from her breast and gazing up at her. "Stayed up all night?"
"That, too," Erin answers with a sly smile. She threads her fingers through her curly hair. "Made love for so long," she whispers in gentle earnestness. She'd forgotten how beautiful Abby's eyes are. She reaches down and caresses her face, almost wishing she'd never have to put her glasses back on, but contacts didn't work out so well when they tried them before.
Abby grins, pressing her cheek into Erin's palm and leaning up. "We're not done yet," she announces and presses another long, heated kiss to her girlfriend's lips. She lifts her head again just enough to utter the plea she's been thinking all night, "Just don't leave me again, baby."
"Never again," Erin vows and seals her promise with another kiss.

She's sensed the power in the other woman since the very first moment she met her. It made her angry at first, but the longer she's known her, the more she's sensed and the more she's wanted it and her. They've done remarkable things together, from saving Henry and traveling to other worlds to even blocking out the very moon together. Regina promises there's more they can do together, but this is surely Emma's favorite use of their power.
"Kiss me again," Emma demands hungrily.
Regina smiles slyly. "If I didn't know better, Swan, I'd think you were stalling your lessons."
"Kiss me again," Emma demands again and, taking their joined hands, points at the fireplace. Fire blazes to life. Emma's gaze returns to Regina as if challenging her to say she isn't learning.
Regina's smile arches higher. "Well played," she acknowledges. For the first time in her life, she obeys willingly and kisses Emma again, her tongue stroking hers and building their power and their fire.

She lays still underneath her husband's fingers and lips. The building heat curls her fingers into their sheets. Her head's turned away from him, her mind closed just enough that he can feel her passion but never guess its source. Rain pelts the window. A dark form flies by; Jean's heart goes with her.
Lightning streaks the night sky, arching her into a cry that isn't her husband's name. Scott doesn't hear as he collapses beside her. He never does even as her mind whimpers her Goddess' name again and again and her eyes stay fixated on the form outside.

When she had finally dared to defy her mother and venture out of her tower, the actual act of leaving had been very easy. She had simply climbed down her own hair, leaving Pascal to untie her knot and swing down with the rest of her blonde locks. She had been unprepared for the world outside her tower. Everything, from the soft, lush grass underneath her bare feet to the sky that seemed even more beautiful and vast from the ground, had taken her by surprise.
She had been awed by everything but nothing more so than the beauty who now stands before her. The girl resembles herself and her mother, with her two legs, two arms, human-shaped head, and long, blonde hair. Her hair doesn't glitter quite as brightly as Rapunzel's, but it's still beautiful. Rapunzel finally blinks after staring at the girl for a long time. "Who . . . What are you?" she asks.
A bunny hops beside the girl; Rapunzel jumps back. The girl opens her mouth, and music seems to pour from it. "He's only a bunny. He's not going to hurt you."
"He's cute." She smiles, lips trembling, at the bunny. Pascal pulls at her hair, as unsure as she is. She looks back to the girl. "What . . . "
"I'm a human," Aurora says, offering her hand. "My name's Aurora." She releases that same musical sound again. Rapunzel realizes it's her laughter and takes her hand in the beginning of what she instinctively knows will be something beautiful.

"So what was I stroking when I touched your feathers and you laughed?" Belle finally demands one day, catching the other woman by herself. Her face is stern, her arms folded before her small chest.
The French maid has the audacity to grin widely and flirtatiously up at her. "What do you zink, cherie?" she asks, her accent purposefully think.
"You -- I -- I didn't know!" Belle flusters, face coloring.
"Non," Babette responds with a quick wink, "but you do now. Don't you wish to touch me again, Madame?"
"I'm married to your King!"
Babette's laughter is both musical and torturous. Belle's mind flashes on that night locked in her room. She had certainly had too much fun with that feather duster!
Babette winks again. "No man is King of Babette," she declares proudly, her breasts full, tight, and popping out of the top of her uniform to the point of almost being bare before Belle's widening eyes.
Belle growls softly, a habit she picked up from her husband when he was still the Beast. Babette spies Lumiere further down the castle's corridor and hurries after him, still laughing. "You know where to find me if you change your mind, Your Majesty!"
Belle's fingers curl. She stomps her foot. She doesn't turn after the maid. Lifting her head higher, she turns to find their King instead. She won't be that kind of wife! Even if she is still remembering that night with far too much fondness . . .

Of all the things Charlie sometimes wishes she had brought with her to Oz, her books always top her lists. She's read the dog-eared version of The Hobbit she keeps in her duffel bag another dozen times at least since being here. Although she never tires of the tale, she likes to remember her other favorites. Dorothy likes to hear them, too, late at night when there's only the two of them and the crackling of the fire to keep them warm.
She can't quote her other favorites word for word quite as well as she can Tolkien, but Charlie never tires of trying or even of acting out parts of her beloved books in a one-woman show. It's the only time she can make Dorothy laugh, the only time she sees her weary face light up, the only time she knows she's finally forgetting about the war for a little while. She tells her stories every night until she starts to feel her throat growing hoarse. Then Dorothy wraps her arms around her, and Charlie continues to recite as she gazes into her eyes.
She feels the warmth of her body entwining with hers. She sees the dancing, hopeful light in her beautiful eyes and knows she's the reason for her hope and happiness. She feels like she can reach out and touch her books. She feels Dorothy's love too, and at last, for just a little while before she dozes off, Charlie smiles genuinely, feeling at home again.

She hides within this human form She's taken as the other Gods are being slain. No one knows She's here, not even big brother, Ares. No one would ever guess the Goddess of Love is hiding behind the stoic face of the Warrior Princess. No one knows Xena didn't return from her last battle, no one but Aphrodite. She saw the future. She saw how broken both of her mortal friends were, and She came.
She arrived a moment too late to save Xena or even help in the battle, not that She's ever been a warrior. She knew what Gabrielle's future without her Princess held, and She knew what Xena's final request would be. She granted it to her friend and used the moment to hide away Her true identity just as the Gods were being gathered.
She was afraid Some One would come looking for her, but no one did. She's the Goddess of Love. She's no more a threat than She was a warrior. No one's looking for Her still. No one visits Her temples. No one dedicates themselves to Her or dotes upon Her. Gabrielle would, but Xena would never let her.
No one knows Xena doesn't still live. Aphrodite's learned subtle ways of using Her magic to accent Her fighting skills. Slowly, She's becoming more of a warrior than She is now a Goddess. Even Gabrielle doesn't seem to suspect, or perhaps it's the words that Aphrodite uses Xena's lips to whisper into the bard's ear while she slumbers every night.
No one's looking for Her, and She's going to keep it that way. She won't be found here in the Warrior Princess' form. Even Gabrielle will never know the truth, but She'll keep her happy and alive for Xena. Yes, She tells Herself every night, stroking Gabby's sweet, blonde hair, for Xena.
