Sam Carter hugged her mug to herself and glared.
Only Kara dared. "You ready to fly?"
"Almost."
"Coffee."
"Mine."

Kara always had believed in action. Sam kissed her back a little hungrily, then yelped when she tried to take the mug.
"Damnit, Carter--"
"Ask."
Kara narrowed her eyes. "Carter--"
"Pass the word: Lieutenants Carter and Katraine to report for pre-flight briefing."
Two sips left. Sam swallowed one and handed the mug to Kara--after all, she wasn't sharing with Kat.
