Guiding Light: Olivia/Natalia - purple - requested by madampresident

Olivia’s breath caught in her throat as she watched Natalia walk down the stairs. She was dressed to the nines in a tight purple dress with a relatively modest neckline.
“Do I look okay?” She asked, self-consciously fussing with her necklace.
“You look amazing.” Olivia whispered.
Natalia smiled broadly, revealing her dimples and Olivia felt her knees weaken.
“Frank’s a lucky man.” Olivia said, trying to keep the melancholy out of her voice.
Natalia blushed. She felt a full body warmth under Olivia’s gaze; her heart pounded in her chest.
The doorbell rang.
“That’s probably for you.” Olivia said softly.

The rosary that hung from Natalia’s rearview mirror swung as she drove. Natalia and Olivia were giving camping another try. Now that Natalia no longer had reservations about the relationship, the tensions that existed before were gone.
Olivia had bought all new camping gear and outfits and chatted excitedly about the cabin she’d rented. Natalia had been adamant that a tent was out of the question.
Natalia bit back a grin as she watched Olivia out of the corner of her eye.
“What?” Olivia laughed.
“Nothing.” Natalia shook her head, “I just love you.”
“I love you, too.” Olivia smiled.
