Did you ever make a mistake so stupid that all else pales into insignificance? I did.
He fought for freedom, rebelling against the Cylons on what used to be my home and I mistook lust and guilt for love and married him. You believed in me and loved me enough to let me go although it left you alone.
I realised too late that we have no bond and tried to put it right. Until I saw you cradling Isis, Maya gazing at you in adoration.
There’s nothing here for me now and hope is just dust beneath my feet.
