Fandom: Hex.
Pairing: Thelma/Ella
Author Note: For the purposes of the drabble, humour me assume Ella's found a way for them to touch :P 200 words.
--
Their relationship is still new but already it's been through enough trials to convince both of them that they can handle anything together. Leon left in a fury the night Ella told him she was breaking up with him for Thelma, then came back a day later to plead with Ella to change her mind. She refused -- wasn't even tempted -- but the bitter argument between them that followed left Ella crying in Thelma's arms.
Sometimes Leon will help them out, but most of the time now he's just as likely to ignore them. He forgave Ella for many things during the course of their relationship but he refuses to forgive her for this; he sees it as a betrayal, and reminds her as often as he can.
They're an unlikely pair with an uncertain future but they make each other happy. And in this time of war with Malachi, they need all the happy moments they can get. Ella's working on a way to keep Thelma here when they finally kill Malachi, but so far she's had no success and it makes them both feel a little desperate.
They focus on the present, because it's all they can guarantee.

Pairing: Cassie/DD.
Author Note: 200 words.

"What do you think?" Cassie asks, claiming DD's attention.
When DD looks up she sees Cassie posed in front of her, wearing the skimpiest version of a maids uniform she's ever seen. She knows why Cassie's wearing it -- she's been waiting for Cross to finalise her undercover identity for their latest mission -- but she figures it won't hurt to have some fun.
"Very nice," she says, leaning back and letting her eyes roam Cassie's body from head to toe. "Is it new?"
Cassie rolls her eyes, tossing the feather duster aside as she takes a few steps closer. "Very funny, Deeds," she smirks. "You have one too, Cross has changed the plans a bit."
"I have to wear that?" DD's eyes widen as she considers the outfit in a new light. It won't be the worst thing she's ever had to wear, and she's completed missions wearing less, but still… it just doesn't look comfortable.
"Yep," Cassie smiles gleefully. "I think you'll look gorgeous."
It's DD's turn to roll her eyes before she abandons the subject in favour of leaning forward to kiss her.
"I think Cross does this on purpose," she says.
"He probably does," Cassie agrees.

Fandom: CSI: New York.
Pairing: Stella/Aiden.
Author Note: 200 words.

This is a new side to Stella, Aiden thinks, as Stella pushes her against the wall.
She can hear faint echoes of the party that's continuing without them in the other room and idly wonders if either one of them have been missed yet. Since Danny brought his stupid blonde girlfriend and Mac declined to show up at all, she guesses the answer is 'probably not'.
"Hey, Stel? I'm not sure this is a good idea, y'know?" she murmurs as Stella presses closer, lips tantalisingly near to her own. She's kissed other women before, that's not the problem, but she always figured Stella was hung up on Mac so she's not sure where this is coming from.
Except that it's New Year's Eve and the ones they want are unavailable, and they've been drinking and that's probably all the explanation really needs. She's not exactly objecting.
"I think it's an excellent idea," Stella says, with the confident assurance of someone who's drunk too much to even know what an excellent idea is, let alone if they're having one.
She kisses Aiden without waiting for an answer and Aiden kisses her back automatically, letting herself forget her doubts for the moment.
