I have a Kindle. If Amazon thinks I'm tied to them for my ebooks, they're insane. There's this lovely little program called Stanza Desktop, you see, that lets me convert HTML, PDF, Word docs, RTF, LIT, Mobipocket, pretty much any damn ebook into a Kindle file.
