Media with which I am currently in love.

So, no more Latin means I get to indulge in television and movies once more. YAY.

1. Okay, Common Law is love. It's like if you took the fanon Harry-and-Draco as Auror partners who drive each other up the wall but secretly want to fuck concept and put it on American television. (I am so writing that one day.) Anyway. TWO THUMBS UP, USA. I mean, dudes, seriously, fandom needs to get onto the writing Common Law fic because the slash in this show is really not even subtext. (I mean, come on. They're partners in the detective unit of the LAPD who have to go to actualfax couples counseling because they love/hate each other. The tag line for the show is It's like marriage. Only with bullets. COME ON.)

And the women on the show are awesome which makes me love the writers. This is my new summer love. Unfortunately, I am only up to episode 7 because I do not have the USA network and all of my usual sources for catching up are...not available. *looks shifty* So if anyone can help a girl out, I would be grateful. Also, Michael Ealy is GORGEOUS. God help me if he ever does a movie with Tom Hiddleston, because I am fairly certain my reaction will totally lose me all lesbian cred.

2. Suits. noeon and I just started watching season 1 and we are in love with the whole concept of this show. (Really, I think we're going to have to get cable eventually just for the USA network.) Noe adores Harvey; I adore Mike. I am being very good and waiting until she gets home tomorrow to watch the next episode AND IT IS KILLING ME. I want brownie points for being a good and selfless friend, dammit. Again, a show in which the women are amazingly written. I want to crawl all over Donna; I am not joking. And I'm fairly certain I need to search AO3 for Donna/Rachel fic. Or Donna/Jessica. Or Rachel/Jessica. WHERE IS THE SUITS FEMMESLASH?

3. Warehouse 13 is back! \0/ I have to admit I love this show so much that I even made time during my last two weeks of Latin to sit down and watch it. I cannot even begin to express the amount of Love-with-a-captial-L I have for Claudia. And the absolutely cheesy special effects. I adore me some bad CGI, you guys. I am completely able to admit that. The more unrealistic the better, and this show provides that in spades. *cuddles the Warehouse to my chest* I really want to cross this universe over with either Avengers or HP. I just can't decide which.

4.Speaking of crossovers...I just watched Despicable Me today for the first time, and now I really, really, really want to write a crossover crack fic with the Avengers where Tony and Loki have to work with Gru and the girls for some reason. BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE AWESOME. Shut up. It would be. I mean, Loki bonding with Margo, Edith and Agnes? Priceless. (How to win Femme's heart? Combine a smart, snarky villain-with-issues-who-needs-redemption with smart, snarky kids. LOVE. SPARKLYHEARTED, SILVER-GEL-PEN LOVE.)
