Too tired to think of a proper subject.

Thank you all so much for all your comments on my last post and your emails. Apologies for not replying properly yet, but please do know your kindness has meant a great deal to me. Yesterday and today were spent making travel arrangements with my mom. On Wednesday we're flying (separately, thank God--I adore my mom, but she hates flying and I love it) down to Florida for two days to go to my aunt's funeral. I may have flinched slightly at the price of the plane ticket and I'll miss a couple of classes, but I need to be there. Things are complicated with my dad's side of my family tree as it is--sigh--and if I'm not there it'll complicate things further. So. I'm going.

Anyway. So far today I have read an article on the connection between Coleridge's The Rime of the Ancient Mariner and an exorcism for Prof Snape, about 100 out of 140 pages on form criticism of the prophets of the Hebrew Bible for Prof Tenth Doctor, and the entirety of The Cloud of Unknowing for Prof Santa. I'm tired, I haven't slept well for the past couple of nights, and my brain is at the point where it just can't handle the last 40 pages of form criticism without imploding on itself, so I might just take half an Ativan and fall into bed early...with any luck Draco Malfoy might wander into one of my dreams and annoy Harry. \0/

Oh, and speaking of...if anyone else wants to make a request on the Timestamp Meme, that post is still open. I have to admit, the requests coming in have not only made me smile this weekend, but they've also been stirring my creativity quite a bit. I has ideas. Lovely, wonderful, distracting ideas. *pets the pretties* :)
