Housekeeping
Okay, so I mentioned that I might be willing to organize the fics linked in the Lizard Brain Confessional by fandom at the very least. Of course, this would be a massive undertaking. OTOH, all I do lately is write fic, go out to bars, listen to wistful country music while baking muffins, and watch TeeVee with girls. So.
But it's complicated because people have been - awesomely - interpreting "Lizard Brain" in different ways and the criteria used are naturally idiosyncratic so a lot of the recs don't mean much without the commenter's description. I mean some people are saying "intimacy!kink" and citing maybe R-rated fics whereas other people are giving us the badfic they wouldn't admit to reading publicly but can't get enough of the filthywrongness of it all. So I might try to also include a) the reccer's name if they gave it and b) as much information as possible. [But I feel a little odd somehow about "lifting" the reccers' names up to a top level post. Does that make any sense?]
I also think that if I do it I might exclude the self-recs for simplicity and also because I added that aspect mostly as a prompt for discussion.
Regardless, before I even think too hard about investing the time this would take, I'd like some confirmation that people would even use it. I mean, there is also the fun factor of just roaming through all the threads. I don't know.

Flist, I heart you v. much but I'm relieved that I'm feeling less compulsive about the Internets right now.
Oh and a story that amuses me anyway: Last night when C and eyesofmyeyes and I were trying to coordinate our ambitious SPN-watching plans, our friend B's wife's ears pricked up and she was all "Did you guys say Supernatural? Can I come too?" Turns out she randomly caught one or two eps the other day and her interest was piqued. So I whispered in her ear and was all, "So you know about me and that whole 'porn on the Internet' thing?" and she was all, "Yeah." Then I lifted an eyebrow. Then I said, "The CAR, and the cock rock and the pretty boys CRYING" and she nodded vigorously. Hahaha, if she does succumb I think her wife (my friend) will be bemused, esp. since she (my friend) is kind of this odd duck in our department who like, hardly even watches TV and movies despite being in a media studies program. And I find it funny that I don't usually have a hard time dealing with the pronoun issue when I write slash but when I try to relate an anecdote without using my friends' RL names, shit gets complicated. :P
