Saturday Night's Alright for Typing

Boy do I enjoy my days off!  I got to sleep in, followed by a little cleaning, bassoon practice, reading.  My friend Crystal got me an entertaining choose your own adventure book, called "Lost in Austen"... I'm sure you can guess the rest!  I've only lost the game once so far, so it's going pretty well. : )  It was also just nice to have some time with Glen this morning--even though we live together, I still really value our actual sit-down time together, since we both seem to be on the go so much!  For instance, his birthday on Tuesday will consist of me working, running errands, and doing orchestra; him working and doing band.  So needless to say, I think whatever we do to celebrate will have to be on a different day!

I found something really great for his birthday--one of those Snapfish desk calendars!  I filled it with photos of us, the twins, and our guinea pigs.  Almost considered getting a 2nd copy for me, but decided on saving the money.  He's also getting the 2nd Star Wars Robot Chicken, and an interesting tray from Target that looks like an old postcard.  Of course, while doing this online shopping I "accidentally" ordered myself a couple of things... a Mannheim Steamroller CD that I've wanted for a while, and the Met's production of La Fancuilla del West, my favorite Puccini opera. : )

Well, off to do some household shopping at Target.  Time to start putting on the layers...
