The first thing any vampire needs to learn is how to handle their hunger. This is why all new vampires have an older vampire to teach them how.
Mina Harker had been expelled from the course in one day flat. She had since made a point of stealing younger vampires from their courses and teaching them how to feed until they killed.
One of her first students had been a girl named Chase. Now she sat in a vampire club and waited for the girl to arrive.
When the girl did arrive she looked stunning but was clearly struggling with the hunger. It was a problem that amused Mina greatly.
“Still not mastered the hunger then?”
“How did you?”
“I can smell your need from here…”
“What?”
“You smell hungry…”
