ST: DS9. Kira/Jadzia Dax. Finally.
The slow dance around their feelings had begun the very first day they met. Kira Nerys hated being faced with challenging emotions, especially when it came to feelings toward her colleagues on the station. Jadzia Dax was a little less bothered by it than Kira but she also knew she had to wait and see if Kira returned her feelings.
Slowly they had become friends and eventually they had become best friends. Kira was slowly getting better at admitting her feelings, although Jadzia still decided to wait for Kira to take the next step.
When Jadzia was first badly hurt they finally managed to admit exactly how deeply they felt about each other.
