Things that are unacceptable.
For this ficathon, we have a new rule that we've had to put into place for anyone who is either participating or watching. If you interact on this comm, you will have to abide by this rule. I don't expect to have a problem with just about anyone that's here.
Flaming ficathon participants in the comments of their sign-ups, and sending them harassing e-mails is unacceptable. Period. End of story. Whether you agree or disagree with the content of their sign-up, you do not troll anyone.
If you have a problem, you don't take it up with the ficathon participants. You bring it to the mods. Privately. We are the ficathon moderators, and we will handle our own ficathon.
If anyone else is trolled, I would hope that you bring it to us as well. Because we don't tolerate that kind of behavior, and you shouldn't have to deal with it.
Someone has decided to harass one of our ficathon participants, and with a lame argument almost straight out of the anti-feminist bingo cards. That comment has been screened. Said person sent a vituperative e-mail to our participant, and that is also unacceptable behavior.
That journal has been banned from the comm, that IP address has been noted, and anyone posting from that IP address will not be allowed to participate in this ficathon.
