one more thing
oh yeah, so I'm currently in a conference craze. I just sent off an application to read a paper at a conference. No big deal, right? Well, except for the fact that:
a.the conference is in ATHENS, GREECE
b. i know next to nothing about the topic, but submitted an abstract anyway.
which means if they select my paper,which is currently nonexistent, i will have to research an entire field and write 25,000 words about it as i am trying to defend my dissertation proposal (yup,have to defend the proposal before i even write the damned thing)
...but, is 25,000 words and a month of research really that big a price to pay to go to greece?
i didn't think so either.
