I have been downloading the 'Women's Hour' podcast from the BBC to listen to on the bus home and so on. There was one a few months ago which had an interview with a female, American writer. She had gone 'under cover' as a man and had joined groups, such as a bowling club, and dated women as a man as well as other things. She has published a book/

I also think she appeared on ABC's "The View" promoting the book. You could possibly find the video on YouTube or another video-hosting site.
