I assume by now most of us hae heard of North Country? If not, this is a pretty good summary.

Anyway, I've been dying to see the movie since I saw the preview a month or so ago. I think it's an important movie, that all women should see, and I want to get together a group of friends to go and see it. Imagine how I feel when my friends basic reactions are "It's going to be boring. It will be dull. I don't want to watch a bunch of women working in coal mines." And it makes me upset. These are women that fought, and suffered to make an example of the things that happen to ALL women, and they don't even care. How many people are going to write this off as "A boring movie." I'm going to have to see the damn movie all by myself. Which isn't so bad, but then you have no one to discuss it with.
