Well, it finally came to ahead and I got fired yesterday morning. Both the Customer Service Manager and His New Supervisor which he can’t stand and she him, decided the enemy of my enemy is my friend. The funny part is they ripped me out of the system so fast it truly scared some people.
The Supervisor, we shall call her Liz came in as HR (which adores me) tells me. She said, it’s just not working out Shansey, I said what exactly isn’t working out for you? She says and I repeat, it just isn’t working out. I reply, so doing my job and doing it well just isn’t working out for you huh? She then gave this awkwardly thin smile which convinced me that not everyone was meant to smile, and repeated herself, it just isn’t working out! HR made a funny face at me and then turned to Liz and said, I can take it from here, your dismissed Liz. She gave him a go to hell look and then shuffled off like she accomplished something.
HR was so angry I thought he was going explode! I was scared for a moment until people started flooding into my office. They too were shocked, apparently Liz was telling everyone and she wasn’t getting the response she would have hoped for.
I didn’t cry. I was afraid too. I wanted to be strong though I felt really defeated. This is the second situation I’ve run into where the bad guys win! I don’t want to give up, but at this very moment I don’t see a reason why I shouldn’t.
Anyone know how to file for unemployment?
