Shopping + Random Luck
Hahaha... went shopping on a school day. =( Shame on me.
$5 for 2. I couldn't resist. *has matching wristband and belt now* They were originally $11.99 each when I wanted to buy them a few weeks ago. XD (I'm confused on how things are priced lately... maybe it's the effect of the rising Canadian dollar?)
$79.99 $39.99 $5. WHAT.
Yeah... funny story... Saw these boots about 2 weeks ago in the clearance pile (set at $39.99) but didn't buy them because I like to shop around. T_T Went again today (because I was afraid they'd be gone) after shopping around and deciding these were the best pairs at a reasonable price. xD So... after asking my dad if I could buy them (lol I'm so independent), I took em to the cashier.
Cashier tried to scan them but it didn't seem to work.... so she called the manager over and asked what was wrong. The manager told her something about the code being this and this so the boots were actually $5. FIVE. FREAKIN'. DOLLARS. Hahahaha my intelligent reaction: "...what? O[]O" and she just said "Can you believe it? You're buying these boots for $5. :D"
... and the sad thing was... I had no cash on me and had to debit for $5.65. |||OTL But I did smile in a dorky way when I entered my PIN. D:
I GOT ME WINTER/COSPLAY BOOTS NOW. 8DD *bricked* Seriously, I've never felt so lucky in my life before. ;__;
On the other hand. I decided to take a pic of my food supply. Why am I so Asian.
Guess what I have for lunch everyday? (That's a box of 60 Quaker nutrition bars for your information).
