argh, weekends are boring. One day i will give in and just get a tv in my room. hmmm
went to a gig last nite!!! yay!!!! a lot more energetic than sitting in the union for like 8 hours but very very good! even if i was pretty tipsy (well, drunken) when Beth finally met me outside Brixton Acamdey. Saw Taking Back Sunday and they were amazing!!!!! the emo craziness of it all. I was as close as i could get to the front while still being able to breath and move, really amazing energetic performance and the crowd and mosh pit was going crazy! Tho i did get pretty beaten up and was exhausted by the end, maybe im getting too old for this? i dont bounce off things aswell as 15year olds??
neway, twas a great nite. Was good being in the union with the physists (mostly) b4hand too. Gotta love fridays.
btw, i didnt write bout this, but last friday was pretty legendary!!!! highlights of the nite has to be daves singing and guitar playing in the hammer and sickle even tho he lost the plectum halfway through the song! and forgot all the words to the last one!! haha. Also becks falling asleep on the floor and dan kinda going home without her! tho me telling eveyrone i loved them and being very loud was kinda embarassing, tho not as much as dave riding around like a horse by SOAS and whinnying a lot!!! also thanx for rob and claire for getting me home ok!!! even if i was kinda carried :-/ i think it was becks' last vlad that did it for me :-/ Even the phys sci ppl turned up that nite! luke, victoria and mike and even elaine! as well as the house regulars. And the best bit?? we get to do it all again next week!!! :-D excellent!
