Snow & Cold & Ninja slippers
The snow storm that was supposed to be really bad, did not turn out so bad as I thought it would. I ended up doing my laundry and shopping on Sunday, but did it early enough so the roads were not that bad yet. I finished just about in time, but it was close. Plus I would not have had as little problems if I did not get my snow tires. They let me get a good parking spot before they were all taken. ;)
At this point I am still parking on the road, so I have to deal with on/off side parking. I thought this might be more of a problem than it is turning out to be. So far so good. Occasionally there is the person who does not know how to park. They end up parking between two driveways in such a way that wastes a potential space, but usually it is not so bad.
Speaking of my house, I think I need to hire someone to evaluate my energy efficiency. Specifically with regards to insulation. There are some obvious problems like various windows and such, but I am more concerned with the things I can't see inside the walls. Also, I need to purchase some big slippers like billisaninja has, because I keep the house at 54 degrees for the most part so my feet get cold when I play video games. ;)
Finally, I ended up going to the Haunt last night. I ended up taking a taxi as I did not want to loose my parking space. :) It was fun. A-Bomb and B-Law are doing a good job with it. Lots of new music and a good crowd. I am glad they picked it up. It would have been a shame if they just closed it and they are working hard at it.
