(no subject)
I've been back for 4 days. The major advantage our little country has over that desert that I returned from is the (currently) very pleasant weather. It's been overcast and slightly drizzly for the past few days, but I prefer this rather than the (apparently) 30 degree hothouse that is Queensland. Even when the weather is less than pleasant here, the (relatively) cheap electricity makes air-con a luxury available to everyone.
On the way out of the house today I spotted someone who was probably headed to Comic Fiesta. She was all dressed up in a gothic-loli outfit, complete with little tophat with lace perched on her head. The car had broken down, oh dear.
Also, I still cannot drive. I might go take the undang soon-ish and take the driving later when I get back. I am actually needing to review public transport options. I think there's a Komuter station nearby or something, and this is my main motivation for needing a driver's license. Oh, and I don't have a car either, but we'll think about that later.
I am still living out of my suitcase and desperately need to go clothes shopping sometime soon. Maybe after my thing on Tuesday I'll bring the credit card and get some necessities (pyjamas, etc.).
Aldo was out of those black patent jazz flats that I wanted so badly. Size 37 was tight and 39 was too loose and 38 was sold out :( Whyyyyyy.
In other news, I am glad to be back. Grocery shopping at 10.30 pm FTW I tell you.
