Watching "James Dean" (2001)
How can you do a movie about James Dean and neither show nor even mention Sal Mineo? Just an example of how anything gay is swept under the rug in this movie. A few kisses on the cheek and quoting the "Well, I'm certainly not going through life with one hand tied behind my back" line does not equal being "brave" about tackling Dean's sexuality.
James Franco was pretty good though, gotta give him that. I just wish they could make a movie about James Dean that shows a more accurate image of the man as he was and not just the image Hollywood wanted him to be. *sighs*
