(no subject)
Long annoying week is finally over and I'm home, waiting for hubby to get back. Hubby who hasn´t called or anything since Wednesday morning! *scowls at him* Anyway, so tired and cold and just plain grumpy I crawl up on the couch with my trusted iBook, log in, go to check my flist and... computer says, "No".
Or more preciesly, computer said "Ok, bye" but in not so many words. Just... sudden black screen. Everything dead. *hyperventilates*
It won't turn on. It won't do anything. It just sits there, dead. *panics*
OK, this has happened once before. Then I took it to the shop and they... well, pushed the On button, the laptop said "Hi there!" and the tech guy looks at me like I'm stupid. "What exactly is supposed to be wrong with it?" I'm hoping this is the same thing. If I just give it a little time. An hour? A day? I don't know!! And then just... push On? Yes? Unless that only works if you have a tech guy do it for you.
IF it doesn't work...
I have copies of the Jsquared VIP fic folder and my Doors rewrite on an USB key. And... no, that's about it. Everything else is on the laptop. *breathes into a bag*
