(no subject)
I've been going writing almost every single morning before work since work started August 17th. (Except Friday mornings after SPN aired, clearly those are reserved for watching!) but this morning I just headed back home after dropping the kids off at school and crashed back into bed to catch an extra hour of sleep. Just so damn tired even if I did go to bed before midnight. And still I felt guilty as hell because tomorrow is SPN morning so no more time this week to do anything. And my head is buzzing with the words I'm supposed to be writing down Right This Minute instead of being here at work doing boring work stuff. *growls*
I think I might be a writaholic...
Hubby is away on a school trip. He left yesterday morning and will be back sometime afternoon tomorrow unless it floods and they get stuck there. (A very real possibility actually.) I really want to go to the Q&A showing of a movie at Reykjavik International Film Festival that is tonight and am hoping the inlaws can babysit. It was made by my aunt and I keep missing her movies for some bizarre reasons so this time I really want to go. It's a documentary about a lesbian couple that were engaged for 42 years before it became legal for them to marry. I expect my mom will be going as well (I'm calling her later to check) so inlaws it is. Then of course there is Rocky Horror Picture Show late tonight which I so wish I could go to but I can't let the kids stay that late somewhere else on a school night and the apartment is way too messy and disgusting to let my mother-in-law babysit there!
I have two episodes of One Tree Hill waiting at home too. Are they even worth watching without CMM? I mean, they hardly were before. They mostly served as my emo time of the week, getting all teary eyed and sniffy, you know. Seriously, so much drama! *rolls eyes* And Glee is downloading as we speak/type/whatever. (I'm just waiting for the IT guy to come knock on my door and chew me out for downloading stuff at work. I've been doing it quite a bit lately. Lalala...)
*sips coffee and waits for work to be over in 3+ hours*
