Girl power!
So we have a new government. Where 5 of 10 ministers are women and the prime minister is a lesbian.
I think we might just have set a record of some kind. lol
Not that her being a lesbian has anything to do with her work, something made rather clear I think by the fact that before last week few people were even aware that she was gay. She was just like any other politician. Then suddenly there's talk of her being the next prime minister and it's like that's all that matters, that she's gay. Especially in the foreign media. Which, when you think of it, is a bit sad and telling of how backward the so called openminded Western society still is.
But yes. First openly gay prime minister in the world, I think. Well, we did have the world's first female president 28 years ago so...
