As someone who graduated high school in 1980, I am so freaking with you on the return of eighties fashions. They were lame then and they're even lamer when recycled. There was some super cool stuff out of Japan, but most of that never made it to the streets and the street stuff is what's getting recycled. Ick. I refuse to go through leg warmers as a fashion statement again!

Also, Calvin and Hobbes is teh AWESOME!

I worked in two libraries and it was fun, up to point. The people I worked with were really interesting to be around. That was why I was interested!

With you on the fashion of the 80's coming back, just Why?

Kudos for even knowing what yaoi is, I didn't. I am so out of touch!

Oh Yaoi can be so much fun, but I just can't take it serious. When I read the plot summaries they already make me laugh. Like "The son of Yakuza-boss, who became a rock-star do defy his family falls hopelessly in love with a traumatized orphan soccer player."
Also if I only ever heard about the New York police force in manga, I'd not think that there is a single heterosexual police man in that town.
It's nice to see so much slash in print though.
