My cold is being stubborn and refusing to go away. I'm trying to convince myself that the fever is gone but frankly I suspect it's still a bit over the normal. I'm just (surprisingly enough) not too fond of rectal thermometers and since that's the only way to take the kids' temperature even the mouth thermometers are rectal by now. Yuck.

More worrying than my cold though is the girl's poor big toe. She managed to drop something on it at school yesterday and it's all blue and hurts a lot. She was crying through the night so mr_felis took her to the doctor today and was told they would need to get an x-ray so that's where they are now, at the hospital, waiting to find out if it's actually broken or not.

The worst thing is that tomorrow is her first gymnastic tournament. Not a real one since there are no judges or anything but they put on a show and everyone gets prizes. She's been very excited about it and now it looks as if she won't be able to do more than just hop around on one leg. I feel so very bad for her. I know she's among the best in her group and it would have been so great to watch her. We'll go and see if she can be with the group anyway, maybe do some of the easy stuff.

Anyway, I owe updates to WIP and stories and replies to feedback as well as other comments. I'm trying, working as fast as I can, multitasking like only a woman can, but I'm not exactly feeling my best and it's agonisingly hard writing porn when you've got the kids at home, watching Disney. Disney kills porn, people, seriously. *groans* Not to mention the house is a right mess, there's not even a single spoon clean in the kitchen and I think there are colonies of germs living in our bathroom. And I've been wearing the same underwear for longer than anyone would like to know. *squirms*

The last part to the Jsquared story is done safe for the Big Finale aka Buttsecks and... well, did I mention Disney? *groans again* It's taken way too long to work on this and I know I've been neglecting other stuff for which I'm sorry. I just hope you find it worthy of all the work and I'll get back to the other stories as soon as this is done.

Uhm...Yeah. That's it. *gets back to work*

[ETA. They just got home. Her toe is broken. Not much we can do though, just feed her painkillers. And no gymnastics for 2-3 weeks. Poor thing. *sighs*]
