Just came home from spending 4 hours in the mall. After an hour of just stumbling around half asleep I bought myself some coffee and sat down while waiting for it to kick in. I ended up only buying 3 presents, stamps and one pretty hoodie for myself. Not a x-mas present, I decided, just a me present because I haven't bought myself anything since June and it was very cheap. And it's got stripes so I feel all slim now and so pretty. *basks in own prettiness*
And what did I see at the mall but some lovely firefighters promoting their new calendar. They were pulling in every woman that walked by, seriously flirting with them while showing off their goods. (Not those goods, you perverts. The calendars!) So of course I walked by. *g* Being flirted with is such a huge mood booster even if you know they're just playing, I mean they flirted with every one, even the ones that were with their boyfriends/husbands. But I did get a nice chance to flip through the pics - which unfortunately are not as porny as those of the French rugby players - and look at some very nice abs and arms. *purrs*
I told them I'd think about it since the store that sells them is close to where I live. At which I got a big smile and sexy winks. Now of course I realise I should have bought one and get it autographed by the two guys selling them. And then give it to my mother. I mean I gave her a cyber egg last year and when I asked her what she wanted this year she said "Maybe something a little more advanced." I don't think she was kidding. And people wonder where I get it from. Instead we bought her a warm blanket for her new cabin since apparently it has very bad heating. Hubby says we should put in a note excusing the lack of batteries. I think we should just put in a packet of batteries for the cyber egg. lol
Anyway, apparently one of the internet cables that runs from Iceland is down, resulting in the very slow connection. Might take 2-3 weeks before it's back to normal. *headdesk* So if I go insane over x-mas, you'll know why.
hot firefighters,
x-mas
