I'm so exhausted even breathing is an effort.
But the car has new tires and the girl's new bed is finally up. We have to buy a new mattress for it tomorrow though and a lamp for her to be able to read in bed. One thought was that the new bed would be a bit like a sanctuary for her to get away from her brother, seeing as it's so high up and the ladder is rather steep. Well, I went to fetch sheets and when I came back 30 seconds later it was just in time to see his wriggly butt disappear over the edge and then he was looking down at me with this huge smile on his face: "Sjáðu! Hátt!" (Look! High!) and yes it damn well is. There's a potential neck-breaking risk here obviously. Hmmm... Not sure what to do about that.
Anyway, we still have left to put back the shelves and arrange her toys in them and...
Think I'll just pass out now, thank you very much. Thank god it's Friday.
