The inlaws wanted to have the kids for another night but I said no because I knew I wouldn't be able to fall asleep tonight without them here, safe in my home.

Then we ate ice cream and watched The Kid* and now I am hardly afraid at all to go to sleep. Just maybe perhaps a tiny bit... Damn, I should have asked the boy if he wanted to sleep in daddy's bed. *is pathetic*
*Which always makes me cry, especially when they come to take the kid away. And btw how on earth did that adorable little boy turn into Fester Addams?!?
